Great Bear Ski Valley offers a variety of terrains for skiers and snowboarders of all levels. And with our advanced snowmaking equipment, you’ll be able to enjoy your sport all winter long. After skiing, come inside The Lodge and enjoy a nice cup of hot cocoa or some delicious food by the fire.
Alpine Skiing & Snowboarding
Our 14 trails of downhill slopes provide the perfect winter playground for skeirs and snowboarders, regardless of skill level. Great Bear features a state-of-the-art learning area and a new, faster conveyor surface lift make the trip to the top faster, increasing your time on the slope.
Uphill skiing or skinning is prohibited at all times at Great Bear. Guests may not access the hill outside of regular operating hours and no uphill traffic is allowed during operating hours.
Whether you’re experienced or a total beginner, the experts at the Great Bear SnowSports School can transform your winter by teaching you how to ski or snowboard.
Our teaching methods follow the American Teaching System from the Professional Ski Instructors of America & American Association of Snowboard Instructors. Our professional staff of instructors focus on a positive environment, fostering progress at your own pace.
